Ettore Sottsass Lotorosso dining Table in marble and lacquered wood, 1960 circa

This rare Lotorosso dining table was designed by Ettore Sottsass for Poltronova in Italy in 1965. No loger produced, this item is a true must have for all Italian design lovers, one of the greatest examples of postmodern design. A great contrast arises due to the different materials: the smooth black base in lacquered metal matches perfectly with both the round top and the thick round foot made out of high quality Carrara marble with its beautiful veins.
